I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I started with an old Halina viewfinder camera that my father gave me when I was about 7 or 8 years old and somehow never looked back. My first SLR was a Ricoh KR9 (I think), but I eventually upgraded that to the famous Canon A-1 that was the workhorse of all the news and artistic photographers of the 80s. It was such a good camera in fact that I still have it all these years later and use it as my weapon of choice if I am taking 35mm film.

Generally I have moved over to digital now though, with almost all of my work done on my Sony A700 with a set of Sigma lenses.
